Food!

I absolutely love to eat!  Sometimes I cook (however I don't proclaim to be a chef), and I also love to dine out.  When I'm not in a cooking mood, I turn to places like Whole Foods and Trader Joes to provide me with healthy meals.

 

Cooking Mood

When I'm in the mood to prepare my meals, they typically look like this:

Meal 1: Meal Replacement Shake or Protein Pancake

Meal 2: Turkey Sandwhich (one slice of bread)

Meal 3: Lean Protein (Chicken, Turkey, Flank Steak), Veggies, Rice or potatoes

Meal 4: Meal Repacement Shake

Meal 5: Lean Protein (Chicken, Turkey, Flank Steak), Veggies

 

Non-Cooking Mood

Whole Foods

I love eating at Whole Foods!  A few years ago when I lived in Las Vegas, I'd eat there for breakfast and lunch, sometimes dinner too!

Not all Whole Foods are the same but luckily enough I've always lived near the best.

Breakfast - I have the amazing chefs there prepare me an egg white scramble with a little bit of mozzarella cheese, spinach, and tomatoes.  Topped with Pico de Gallo. Delicious.

Lunch & Dinner Options - I'm pretty basic, I usually stick with their grilled chicken, brown rice , and veggies.  If I'm in the mood for a treat meal, their pizza is delicious!!

 

Trader Joe's

TJ's has the most amazing prepared salads and meals, packed up and either ready to eat immediatley or after a few minutes in the microwave.  And there are a few frozen options that are great too!  Here are a few of my Trader Joe's favorites:

Dining Out

 

I love dining out and when I do, I don't try to give the chef a hard time by asking for no seasoning, smaller portions, etc.  I simply order the freshest options available.  So I opt for those dishes that come baked, steamed, grilled, no sauces or marinades.  I stick to fish, chicken, or steak and I always get a veggie and most times have a small portion of starchy carbs.
